Gianni D'Alerta

Co-Founder

A pioneering force in the digital cigar landscape since the early 2000s, Gianni D’Alerta created Social Cigar, the first-ever social network for cigar enthusiasts, which attracted over 3,500 members and 200,000 monthly page views. As Director of Interactive Marketing at Camacho Cigars, he spearheaded innovative digital initiatives, including the viral “Black Band Project” campaign that generated 20,000 leads in under a month. His expertise in technology and marketing has consistently bridged the traditional cigar industry with digital innovation, setting new standards for consumer engagement and brand development.

His tech journey began during the first dot-com boom, where he worked at one of Miami’s first ISPs before joining Alienware as Senior Web Designer, where he directed creative launches and shaped the iconic brand identity still recognized today. His early adoption of blockchain technology in 2013 led him to become an early Ethereum supporter and team member, contributing to forum support and branding initiatives.

As founder of NAKA and co-founder of Purple Horizons, Gianni leverages his expertise in digital transformation to help businesses navigate emerging technologies. His work spans across NFT art advisory with Metavisor and cultural initiatives like NFTcubaART, showcasing his ability to bridge traditional industries with cutting-edge technology.

Beyond his professional achievements, Gianni demonstrated exceptional leadership as a Scout Leader, guiding 10 young men from Cub Scouts to achieving their Eagle Scout rank, culminating in an ambitious 50-mile canoe portaging expedition in the Boundary Waters.
